  4. The Laughing Policeman This song is by Tiny Tim. *Laughter* I know a fat ole policeman, he's always on our street A fat old, jolly red-faced man, he really is a treat He's too fine for a policeman, he's never known to frown And everybody says he is the happiest man in town *Laughter* He laughs upon his duty, he laughs upon his beat He laughs at everybody when he's walking in.

  8. I ordered this CD for my grandson (well, me really) as it had all the songs I remember singing to my children and from my childhoodl. I wasn't disappointed, it is brilliant. Especially Rolf Harris singing 'I've lost my Mummy'. I was in tears with laughing and when it was followed with the laughing policeman that finished me off/5(59).
  9. That's Maurice Denham's swing version of "Three Little Fishes," It's one of the songs on this new CD from England, Vintage Children's Favourites, from the s, 30s, and 40s. Some of the songs are very British--like "The Laughing Policeman" and "The Teddy Bears' Picnic"--and a few are real clunkers, a couple are just slightly politically.
